Crab Spider
A few Crab Spiders have the remarkable ability to change colour. One of them is Misumena vatia, like Thomisus mostly hunting on flowers. Both species are up to 8 (10) mm long and in Central Europe prefer warm habitats (especially Thomisus onustus).

Thanks for your coments on my photo.

For me this is the of your macro work. It was a close call between this one and 'the fly'. In the end it came down to composition, I just love the simplicity. Also focus is sharp on the crab's eyes even when veiwed large. Very well done
