The Calm...
The Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse near Seal Rocks NSW Australia. Its construction was completed in 1875. The shot was taken on a clear day with an impending storm brewing on the horizon, while I dangled over the safety-railing of a radio-hut along the ridge spine the tower sits atop.

Have Your Say

It's been so long since I've seen such a sunny, blue sky. This photo gets my vote.

Lighthouses have lite man's way as he travelled the world for a very long time. Most have only ever seen them in temperest times, including myself. But to see the Photographer capture the calm and serenity of such an important Station on Australia's coast is a very secret moment. It does not happen all that often in lighthouses. The sky is so at peace with the sea and sea in harmony with the land and with that, the people are safe.
